SZÉCHENYI GROVE AND PLAYGROUND, TANÖSVÉNY

The hotel is located a comfortable 5-minute walk from the heart of the city, next to the picturesque and peaceful Széchenyi Garden dotted with ancient trees, which is a great place for those who want to relax.

The visitor center of Békéscsaba, created in its original natural environment, the Széchenyi Garden, is located on the banks of the Living Water Canal that crosses the city.

The entrance to the park is marked by the Székely-Gate, a gift from the sister city Székelyudvarhely in 1991.

Its area is about 0.5 km². The Living Water Canal Promenade is a nature conservation area of local importance due to its chestnut and oak trees.

In the heart of Széchenyi Garden, the beautiful park has been enriched with play elements reminiscent of the work of the giant painter Mihály Munkácsy.

The Körösök Valley Visitor Center is also located in the park, where you can get tourist information, inquire about tour offers, borrow equipment and use green activities.

In the summer, the building is full of children’s noise, as the Visitor Center hosts children’s camps every year, where young and old alike can participate in crafts and nature diving programs.

In the park, those who want to exercise outdoors can also find the opportunity to relax, as a built-in running track covered with molded rubber and an outdoor fitness park await exercise lovers.

The Körösök Valley Visitor Center awaits those who want to relax in the Széchenyi Garden, in a picturesque environment.

The Lichka-Lipót Nature Trail is located in the grove. The educational trail can be visited individually throughout the year.

If required, guided tours for groups can be requested at the Körösök Valley Visitor Center.
The length of the educational trail is 780 m and can be completed in 45-50 minutes.
